AWAGAMI MITSUMATA WHITE DOUBLE LAYERED 1118X15M
Awagami Mitsumata has a smooth and elegant look with a rich subtle gloss. In order to maximize the finesses of the fiber a coating solution is applied for best possible printing results. Mitsumata Double Layered is a two layered paper made from 100% Mitsumata on the front side and pulp for back. It can be peeled into two sheets after printing and is recommended for works of scroll paintings. It is also good to use for any art works and printing replicas.
Mitsumata is also a main Washi fiber which contains insect repellent material. Mitsumata has a smooth surface which contains fine fibers that give off a delicate luster. The thickness (weight 95g/m2) is an indication of the media before it is peeled into two sheets. After it is peeled, it will be approximately 1/3 of its original thickness.
