At DES, we regard the sales function as equally important to engineering, software development, manufacturing and administration. We practice ethics of professional selling whereby a ‘deal’ is a ‘no deal’ if we think it is not right for the customer. Consultative selling is what we are all about; we aim to build long-term relationships with customers where needs are carefully analysed and any errors quickly rectified. Sales negotiation is a function that permeates all the way up to top management. DES is proud of both its commercial common-sense and its willingness to work with customers to continue to grow.
